Free Financial Worksheets

Since 2015 I have been offering premium financial worksheets to readers and email subscribers FOR FREE because I believe everyone deserves to get their financial act together — at no charge. For a time I used to offer paid products and after reacquiring the site in 2021…. now I'm like…”nah,” and will be slowly converting previously paid products into free resources as well.

The reason? If you're taking charge of your financial future enough to GOOGLE SEARCH and find these worksheets then you deserve unreserved access to them. You can unsubscribe at any time. Currently in the “Freebie Vault” are the following:

Financial Products I Love

Often, I get asked which products I like and use in my day to day life. So, I created this list of financial services, products, and companies that I use and love. I'm not afraid to call out an advertiser when I don't think they've done right, so it's very important to me to only offer the BEST to readers. But because there is affiliate/ad revenue on this site, please note this disclosure:  There are some affiliate links below and I may receive commissions for purchases made through links in this post, but these are all products I highly recommend. I never recommend anything I haven't personally vetted or used myself! See my full affiliate disclosure here.

Shopping Addiction/Mental Health

#1 thing I get asked about most often from readers? How to get through a shopping addiction. My answer? THERAPY. You can use it for anything. I recently did a full year of mental health counseling to help with my divorce. I use a company called Growing Self which does virtual sessions, but I'm also an affiliate partner with Talkspace which is a well-known, reputable company that also matches people with virtual therapists.

Saving Money

When it comes to savings money, I keep things pretty simple. I have a variety of savings accounts — some of long-term goals, some for short-term. As of late 2022, here is what I'm using. (Also check out a post on other great money saving apps here!)

Debt

Getting out of debt is hard work. Trust me, I've been there. The following tools make it super simple.

  • Lower the interest on your balances as low as you can, either through balance transfer offers or a debt consolidation loan. This is the partner I recommend for that (Payoff!) – highly recommended and great rates.
  • If you have a lower/thinner credit profile, or need a personal loan for another type of expenditure, here is the partner I recommend.
  • I also recommend track of your credit monthly. Most card companies do this for free now on your behalf, but you can always check it for free with Credit Karma.

Budgeting

In full transparency, after ten years of writing about personal finance, my budgeting in on autopilot and I do a lot of it manually. Below are products I've used in the past/or still use on an annual basis when I need a reset or to tighten things up.

  • Trim is a fantastic app that can help you lower your bills. Highly recommend.
